Bumping because as a guy who has to wear glasses, I can play football without them. But my vision isn't perfect with nothing on, so I wear football glasses like he did. It's too dangerous to wear normal glasses as they can shatter in your eye if the ball hits you in the face.

It's actually pretty good. At first it was awkward to dribble with peripheral vision, but you get used to it. Been wearing them for about two or three years now and they really help.

Other than that, Edgar really was a terrier of a player. Loved him and Seedorf in the 90s especially. They made a big impression on me as a 14 year old at Euro 96.

Edgar’s condition is different from bad eyesight.

His eyes get dry too fast or something.

He was cool with his glass. And as a DM he was rock solid and very skillful (used to play futsal).
Yeah people think he was just aggressive and a terrier but he was a very technically accomplished footballer.

A few people have mentioned him to me since I started wearing the glasses lol
