He's pretty good. I don't think he's good enough for Barca, but then we probably thought that about Raphinha when he was at Leeds.

Great dribbler and a good passer with good vision also.

Almost 27 so if he is going to take a step up (no disrespect to Palace) it has to be soon.

Smooth operator 😎

Buyout clause is £60 million + 8 bonus
Contract with Palace till 2027.

he can play LM, LW cutting inside and AM but also right winger to rest Yamal and stretch the pitch.

Would also give Flick tactical variety. Balde on double duty running up and down the pitch is an open invite to overuse injury and we need the depth 🪔
He's like a saucier version of Aston Villa Grealish. Glides past players. Beautiful Footballer.

BUT

This isn't the LW profile that Flick likes. He probably wants a proper winger.

Yea very good. Last season Arsenal attack was all Saka, if you lock him up they can't do shit in offense. Now they have this absolute baller and on top of that Europe's most prolific goalscorer from last season

EZ muther fookin' E.

If only we had Andy Gray still on commentary in pre-PC times. Might actually get to hear that line after a goal.

Richard Keys could chime in with a "ma n***a" afterwards.

Those were the days, and yes, seeing my posts, it's one of those mornings. Time to hit the caffeine and get off of here.

Immense again. Though Rice was the best player on the pitch. I hope Tuchel plays a midfield trio of Anderson, Rice and Eze at the World Cup. I like Rogers a lot, but I think Eze just edges him right now. But he's at his peak and Rogers is still just 23.

I wouldn't even consider Bellingham to start, good as he is. He's far too much an individual. Palmer I would use off the bench to change games.

That's the midfield that I would go for.

Bellingham, as good as he is, is a tactical anomaly with his profile.

Who would you play instead of Palmer?

Saka shouldn't start. Been bang average this season. Nowhere near Palmer in terms of actual ability to win games. One of the most overrated players around and fragile mentally.

Eze, as a 10. Rice as the box to box 8. Anderson sitting and dictating. Many of Palmer's best performances have come when he's played off the right, as he did against PSG. He's a player that needs space and often the middle of the pitch is congested. It's a headache for the manager, Tuchel, but you've got Bellingham, Palmer, Eze, Rogers and Foden basically playing for one spot.

Agree with you on many things but not this. He's been England's best player over the last couple of years. Always one of Arsenal's most consistent performers. Though I do think an in form Madueke pushes him close.

He's consistent and hardworking but his ceiling isn't as high as Palmer.

Palmer on his best day can beat a Spain with his magic. Saka can't.

World Cup needs players like Pogba who aren't the most consistent but can win games in big tournaments singlehandedly.
