Messi really masters the art of evading opponent's challenges/tackles. If you compare to other high volume dribblers like Neymar, Hazard, they have way more fouls won. Show they are not as good as Messi at evading/withstanding opponent's challenges. Neymar in particular, likes to dive.

Cr mostly falls after one push or similiar.

The fact that most kids think Ronaldo is better than Maradona because of goals, Champions Leagues and Ballon Dors is the biggest indictment on why the ball knowledge on social media is almost non existent.

Possibly yeah. He could be there for sure. But Messi and Maradona are the best two I have seen. They're that unreal that I have to actually think if I would put prime R9 before the injuries even on their level.

In retrospect I probably would. There's a lot of geniuses, but those three are the only three who really make your jaw drop to that extent on their best days. Others might say Pele and Best and I have seen some of them, but mostly in full games videos and highlights. Maradona, R9 and Messi I have watched in real time. Ronaldinho too I guess, but he wasn't as good as those three for me.

It's amazing to think these three players make other footy geniuses look human.

But surely if they never seen him, they shouldn't say someone is better than him, just because he plays now and is visible? That makes no sense to me.

You can't say 'Maradona might be better than Ronaldo, but I have never seen Maradona so will go with Ronaldo'. Surely the wise thing to do is to watch videos on Maradona, download full games, read what his peers think of him. But probably most kids cannot be bothered and given attention spans these days it is hard to blame them.
