He looked really calm and solid partnering Bartra yesterday so I thought he deserves a thread.

Also, he (and Babunski) recovered most balls (5 each) during yesterday's game against Recreativo.

It's so weird to think that he was playing in my league last season. He didn't stand out at all when we played him.

I only played two minutes but yes. Until 2 months ago I "played" in the Belgian second division :lol: I never noticed he was this good, nor did somebody else.. he wasn't regarded as a big talent. Shows how poor the scouting is over here I guess. His transfer to Barça blew my mind.

I am a cb but I wouldn't want to join, would only be a liability. Me joining Barça would mean we're officially a shitty club. Messi at CB would be better.

He was every good with his passing ,but kept the ball a little too much for my liking. Very nice signing nevertheless.

How did you get into the Belgian second division? Football on that level would be a dream for most.

I played in the first division until I was 19 then we got relegated. I just come through the youth ranks, no special effort :p
