He got a pretty mild sentence, considering the prosecution asked for double the time. What saved him a bit was, that the doctors didn't find any injuries on her and he was probably drunk. Nevertheless it's probably the right decision. People like him think fame and money open doors, so his are closed now for a while.
If she only wanted money, she would have dropped the case long ago, since I'm pretty sure Alves offered her millions to get out of it. It's even honorable from her not taking the money. Pretty sure enough women would take the millions, even if they were raped.

That's the problem. If you have your pick of women for years/decades it becomes dull. So the only excitement left is in forbidden things. Why do you think so many powerful and rich people are adulterers/rapists, when they could have a willing harem following them. It's the same logic with anal sex. Most men don't like it because it feels better, but it gives them a feeling of doing something forbidden, that they have power of the woman. And that turns most men on, especially when normal sex becomes standard. Rape from wealthy/famous men is the same logic, just some disgusting level higher.
You think all of Epsteins clients didn't have their pick of women? They were all famous/millionares/billionaires. They just loved the thought of having power over a girl/child.

Could you please summarize the evidence, and if his semen/DNA was found inside of her, how does this prove non-consensual Intercourse?
