Why is the Copa final played right before the CL SF?.

Makes no sense especially when I team makes a deep run in the CL.

Main reason Madrid never really gives a fuck, because if you can choose between a Copa final and a CL SF game, the answer is obviously.

This should be the last game of the season or closer to it.

Because RFEF think they get the most viewers in the hottest phase of the season instead of at a time, where most leagues are already decided. It's a pure economic driven decision.

Does it really matter when it's played? Inter play Milan tonight and then Roma on Sunday in an even closer title race than Barca. So come midweek both sides will be at the same level of freshness.
