Colombia

Huh!? Always liked Queiroz. Wish him luck!

How am I not surprised? He is one of the most defensive coaches out there. His Iran team was famed for their 1-0 wins. Huge flop in RM as well.

Surely Colombia could do vastly better than that?

He was our coach here. Such an angry personality. In my head he just made a charismatic defensive team... something like Di Matteo's Chelsea in their bad days.

Leak for Colombia's jersey for WC26. Looking pretty good imo.

2014 Jersey is still GOATed though

IMO, 3rd best South American team behind Argentina and Ecuador. I like the team a lot.

The talent is there, but the coach reminds me of DLF and Martinez for Portugal.

@jaype probably has better insights than I do.
spot on.

I think 3rd is right based on qualifiers and performances. In terms of the squad, I'd say it's good except for the CBs, even so it might be enough to perhaps reach quarters. I'm still on the fence about Lorenzo, but he did go on that crazy winning streak last year and reach copa final.

Starting 11 is probably this:

GK

Munoz --- Davison Sanches --- Lucumi --- Mojica

Rios --- James/Quintero --- Lerma/Castano

Arias --- Luis Suarez/Cordoba --- Luis Diaz

I would add that although we've produced great players in the past and currently, Colombia in general is known for being pecho frio when it really matters and I agree with that. They're not gonna win shit unless their mentality changes, psychology is a big part of football.
