And there's the first confirmed mathematical qualifier (yes I know some other teams are highly likely through). Flamengo top Group D. Will play Bayern, Benfica or Boca (all the Bs) in knockout round.

We can always turn the story around when the CWC usually happens in December and European teams start their season in August.

The South American teams have completely HUMILIATED the European teams so far. The Europeans rock up with their billion pound squads having plundered the South Americans of all their talents. And they are still getting sent packing with their tails firmly between their legs.
It's the equivalent of a country stealing another country's best military personnel and weapons and still losing a war against them as they fight with their sticks and stones, due to the passion for their country.
Real football fans should be rejoicing in this miracle of football fan power and passion destroying the PECHE FRIO, money reliant, soulless European clubs.
It's a modern day miracle and I'm loving every minute of it.

Yesterday one of news headlines here in Netherlands was “Nobody watching Club World Cup”.
I switched channels too soon so don’t know if that is limited to Netherlands self, Europe or more globally.
