CL Semi Final: Inter - Barca 4-3

Yeah, losing a final is worse . Win it or go home as losers with nothing.

Barca fans have had it good at not losing CL finals in most fan's lifetimes. Just like RM fans (just that they are 9-0 instead of our 4-0 streak).

Ask Bayern fans about the Inter and Chelsea losses in 2010 and 2012 (at home!!!).

Or Pool about 2018 and 2022 (especially).

Or Juve (5 straight CL final losses).

Or AM

Or soon Inter who will be a nice 2 CL finals lost in 3 years and probably trophy less this season

Losing a CL final is total shit feeling, much worse than losing 7-6 in a semis. And with the way we currently play, we would get smoked in the final. Inter will too, since their level is around ours, or maybe slightly below if everyone fit.

We also came back from 0-2 down to 2-2 and 0-2 down to 3-2.

Are you really going to troll about being outplayed over the whole tie with so many more injuries on the Barca side compared to yours. And tougher domestic competition.

You're likely going to end with 0 titles this year. Calma.
There is such a thing as being gracious in victory and also in defeat.

I Think if we get a better defense for next season we will be favorites. This young team is hungry the next game against RM will really show it.

Pretty easy for Inter to be gracious in victory after being by far 2nd best in the tie. Just take the win and hope it's not for nothing in Munich.

All you can do really.

It will be. The way they played, they won't survive Lucho 2.0 (and his infinite budget and talent).

It is true it is easier to be gracious in victory, but not being gracious in defeat makes you look bitter and shows lack of sportsmanship

They can pull off a Chelsea in 2012. Not impossible in a one off match. What comes after that will be a major decline.
Chelsea 2012 was rock solid, just unmotivated in the league.

Inter have no-one of that caliber. Drogba would have mangled our "defenders" beyond recognition.

Don't know of people remember, but after 2010 Inter fell off a cliff.

You can't get battered by almost all opponents and hope it always works. So best to enjoy the moment and hope you have the title to show for it.

Chelsea 2012 still had

Drogba
Lampard
Cole
Terry
Petr Cech
Even Ivanonic

Biggest names that Inter have are Bastoni and Lautaro?

Inter has 4-5 top players. The problem for them is that luck plays a huge part of their run in both 2023 and this year. And many refs decisions going their way.

I only count 2-3. Who are the 4-5?
Lautaro, Thuram, Dumfries, Bastoni, Sommer... good players imo.

Sommer pulled off a massive tie for them. Clutch as fuck.

They have the means to see this done. But it's a hit and run. That is all.

They did not dominate anyone really in the last 3 seasons. Played a good CL final though vs City. Even got outplayed by Porto in 2023, should have not made it past groups in 2023 even.

Luck never goes on and on. Funny thing is they actually played better vs City and Atletico when they got knocked out.

We will participate in the final.
In response to the people who bitterly wished us bad, I will say this.
If we win, I will celebrate.
If we lose, I will be the first to congratulate my opponents sincerely, similar to what I and some other Inter fans did on the Man City forums two years ago. Should that be the case, good job them.
