CL Semi Final: Inter - Barca 4-3

Foul on Martin for the equaliser.

Foul on Lamine continued INSIDE the box. Penalty.

Handball by Acerbi could also have been given.

Three 50/50s. We get one of those we are in the final, but none go our way.

Other way around and it's a Uefalona robbery that lasts a lifetime. But this hasn't even begun to get traction because Barca are the ones robbed.

Madrid get 2 of those 3 and their fans and every other cuck is praising their monster mentality.

These are the fine lines between winning the Champions League and being known as semi final bottlers.

too predictable

We really need Cherki this summer. Would be the perfect guy to ease the burden on Raphinha and especially Lamine.

But with him most likely going for a a cut price something like 30M it's gonna be too smart of a bargain for us to pull it off...we'll rather pay twice that for some worse player.

The outcome with Barca in the CL is

1) Humiliation (go out), 2) Robbery (go out), 3) Domination (go through)

Really nothing in between

When we try to 4) edge it, the fucking bald madridista from poland ignores a blatant foul for late equalizer. Shameful
4. Think we are too good and underestimate our opponents (go out)

^^referring to AC Milan in 1994 CL Final.

Van Boekel was the same referee who refused to give the clear handball by Dumfries in 2022.

If it was Madrid they would have threatened legal action by now if they ever received such refereeing twice by the same referee.

There comes a point where if you are going to let yourself get fucked over and not do anything about it, you deserve what you get.

On to the Classico where no doubt another scandal is awaiting.

Think he also was in VAR when he failed to signal a clear pen on Dembele vs Bayern away.

Watching Gerard Martin getting ball stuck in between his feet, not being able to clear it and him 99% getting fouled afterwards by Dumfries. Seeing Araujo being unable to stop a frikin 37 year old CB from hitting it into the top corner when Araujo only needs to block it with his left foot and Szczesny just watching it go in near post. It’s so painful.

All true , but hermano, what hurts the most is seeing Inter 4 against 4 with a UCL final three minutes away. Who does that? Nobody that's who. And we have been saying it all season.

Honestly, I wasn't even surprised they got a late equaliser because we are one of the only teams in football history that REFUSES to shut up shop with 3 minutes left of a UCL semi final.

Simone Inzaghi is probably pissing himself laughing at how we managed those closing moments and who can blame him.

Exfuckingactly

It killed me seeing that shit.

Any other team this game is in the bag, bar a worldie from the opposition or a massive slice of luck for them.

its baffling that this team refuses to even attempt to get organized and park the bus. Maddening actually. I am now fuming mad. This fucking loss stings so much

Agreed, but also we are the team that basically NEVER gets lucky in the European competitions. I thought this may have been the season where we may have had a "fluke" CL Title (for a lack of a better term) like RM does year in year out with timely lucky goals.

We won't become Madrid and fluke CL titles.

I see this as a maturing experience for a young team (bar Lewa and a few others) that is going to win more than 1 CLs in the years to come

True, true.

But what can you do. Flick is a mad genius. Check out Bayern fans opinions on redcafe about Flick ball.

One of them put it something in the line of "the most frustrating great football we ever played. We could beat the shit out of anyone, and we could also ship in 4 vs worst team in Bundesliga".

Today he lost the plot though, and he probably knows he fecked up. Close up shop, put everyone behind the ball, and seal the final. Should be the sane thing to do. I'm not asking for some Pep-ball soul-sucking tiki-taka to humiliate Inter, but come on... too much work put into this CL season to just throw it away like that.

You're telling me all this season's CL work, all of it came down to just a 3 minute bet vs Inter, either we score 4-2 or we lose it? It's fecked up.

The error is in the coaching/philosophy no doubt.

Only 2 attackers should go out on that play to keep the attacking pressure, with the sole intent of eating up time. While the midfield stays behind as a buffer for the defense in case they find a break.
