QUIZZ:
Inter fans would protest this 'toenail' offside, and rightfully so. You would do the same if this was called against Barca.

But look closely: is there something in the frame that makes you think this deserves to be called offside, disregarding the toenail?

When you answer this, you would have the answer as to how the offside law should change

Is it he is wearing white, so it should be automatically onside and no VAR check? :innocent:

Karma. Diego Milito goal was offside in 2010 and winning the return leg 1-0 qualified us for the final.

Don't get the controversy, you can score using your tip of the boot, so it's offside. Move on. It's just like a goal that barely crosses the goal line. Or like in tennis if the ball barely catches the line. If Yamal's chances are some centimeters more inside, the ball goes in instead of out from the crossbar. Sometimes some centimeters make a difference in sports.

I'm waiting for birdy response. But I'm guessing it's that the VAR line doesn't match the pitchlines.

But the bigger issue is Inter had another player further offside, and he directly influenced Szczesny's movement on the cross. So the offside should be called on interference anyways.

Because like anywhere else on pitch would be a foul if try that and catch someone.

If players shit it and dont challenge then carry on.

Always been the way.
There plenty of evidence of players not getting hit but nearly and still get a free kick for a high kick. The fault here is that Pedri should have played into it more, made a scene of it

Thats why i watched game with my interista friend, who said, offside is offside, no controversy. And other way around. What a game from us, we absolutely murdered them and shipped 3 goals in a manner that only barca can ship in, absolute golazos and it was their night.

Damn , are people really trying to change the offside rule just to invent some weird non existent bad call.

Offside is offside. As long as the images haven't been manipulated like they were with Lewa's clown shoes, I would not complain about an offside called against us even if it is by the width of a toenail.

Inter fans are so fkin annoying man. You've robbed us in the last 2 games we played in 2010 and 2022. Stop trying to invent shit to make it look not so.
