Wouldn't have mattered anyway IMO. Barca weren't prepared for such tactics back then. Served as a valuable lesson for the next season.
Exactly. I wouldn’t trade winning the UCL in the Bernabeu with the 2010-11 season. That 2010-11 season is the greatest season in the history of this club and the team assembled in that season is the greatest team ever witnessed in the history of sport. The lessons and tribulations of 2009-10 were the driving force behind the 2010-11 season.

Meh, almost impossible to say.
Physical and mental shape will decide it in my opinion.

Barcelona has the more talented players overall, but Inter (in my opinion) is tactically stronger.
You have an amazing attack, but we have a great defence and counter.
Condition will decide it.
Well put. I couldn't agree more. This Inter side is balanced, mature and organized. Let's not forget they played 2y ago in final and imho were better side and lost ...

If Thuram and Dumfries are fit for the tie, we are done for. The thing about Lautaro is that he is absolutely amazing in that two striker system of Inter. They feed off eachother. As soon as Lautaro is alone up top he turns into an average player. Dumfries fit would mean Martin/Fort/Araujo are going to be in for a hell of a nightmare on that left side.

Also, amazes me how optimistic people are in this thread. Do any of you watch Serie A? They have been solid and always seem to have the game in control despite lacking possession or being a goal down in ties. It's much different than ATM who just park the bus and inshallah.

Pretty much everyone has commented on how solid Inter look.

Genuinely dont see anyone over confident or thinking even if do get through would be anything but a battle.

I believe Barcelona at their absolute best are better than Inter only if we play in 10 men.

But that's okay, you said the same in 2010 too when we played 1 game in 10 men ;)
You made account here and you would dissapear in 20 days. Gtfo, nobody here underestimes inter, its your stupid fanbase that are talking(like some idiot today in a pub said that inter would ship 10 goals against this barca side in 2 games)
We shall see what will happen, respect to inter whatsoever, but please, if you cant add something quality wise, for example with dumfries back, why should or should not inter elevate game to another level, please just fuck off.

Our (Inter) best ability is probably that we don't really offer many points of reference to opponents.
Tottenham with Kane could have been an opposite, just to make my argument clearer.
We play as a team, and we don't really have any particular player you need to stop in order to stop us.
This helps us turn games into tactic-fests where you need to match us with equal solidity.

Which is also our weakness, because having great, talented players who run and dribble is also an advantage.

It's normally Barcelona, historically, that's used to making big proclaims.

Johan Cruijff thought his Barça team was so much better than Milan, and made it well known before the final he lost 4 - 0 in 1994.
Same goes for Romario and other Barcelona players who proclaimed they'd already won that final.

The same goes for 2010, with the Remuntada spot, or how "Inter will regret being footballers at the Camp Nou".

We like to fly low.

I don't like mentioning these things, but if you tell me to GTFO, then I'll happily respond.
Barcelona the team, yes, not just their fan base, has the habit of sometimes talking too much.

Aye like United thought they would win in 2009 and 2011.. like Juventus thought they would win in 2015.

Like majority of Italian media who seem to think Inter will win...

Whats the point?

You'd be surprised how most people want us to lose here.

Even the italian commentary almost choked when Pavard scored against Bayern

Yes, you are right!
At least we share the same town, unlike you with Madrid!

But, instead of being insulting, since you started with "GTFO" and "fuck off" ...
Maybe grow up and talk about the game?

I disagree, most Italian media disagrees with this take. In fact they have been mocked for not being a true Italian team due to how many players they have from different nationalities.

Inter is the most hated club in Italy, according to polls.

Which is to be expected, since Juventus hates us, and they happen to have the most fans.
