Sommer is just 1.83m. We should try to exploit it with high crosses or finishes into the far corner, where he can't reach the ball. Lamine's favorite finish could be leathal here.

I am actually happy we got Inter rather than Bayern.
With Balde injured, I didn't fancy the Accountant against Bayern's right side. Inter is a different beast, but Dumfries might be out for the 1st game.
2nd Point is. If Bayern can put 3 past them, and almost made it to the Semi's, we should be able to get past them.

I feel like we should try using the 3-5-2 system. Boot the Accountant out.
Kounde - Cuba - Inigo
Fermin - Fdj - Pedri - Olmo - Raph
Yamal - Lewa

Don't know if this works, and I am being Naive, but IMHO it gives a lot of options to overload the midfield and players who are good with the ball at their feet, while Inter being a bit weak at the RB.

I was thinking the same after balde's injury, but realistically it's too late to try a new formation.

He won't go full pep at this point of the season, he'll just move players around in the system he has.

But when it comes to 3-5-2 vs 4-2-3-1, I think the former starts with a tactical advantage from base from.

It probably is too late.
But if these people have practiced behind doors, they should absolute try it.
Inter seems to be lacking on their right side, with Dumfries injured, and the next two options are two 35-year-old players and a 23-year-old with only 1 UCL game.
I think Inigo and a combination of Raph and Olmo should be able to take care of them.

If PSG defend as they did against Aston Villa, and Liverpool in the second leg, it could well be game over for them. I just think Arsenal are the worst team other than perhaps Inter for them to play style wise. PSG love space in behind and Arsenal won't give them any. The Gunners are also an even better counter attacking team than Aston Villa, who gave PSG all sorts of problems.
Honestly, if I were a neutral both ties are very cagey tactical matchups - I just hope the quality of the football will match how it looks on paper

Avenge 2010 please. Fuck this volcano.
Revenge Insha'Allah, after 15 years, we can finally avenge the tragedy of 2010 in which we were robbed and denied of what seemed to be our destiny to win the 4th in Santiago Bernabeu. But we can overcome these demons with this tie, winning this diminshes the demons of 2010 and the ghosts of 2022. Also gives us the chance to win the coveted and desired 6th European Cup in the stadium of our most hated European rival, FC Bayern München

We don't need any new formation. We need to arrive at the game in top physical condition, do what we have done in most big games so far, and we can 100% play the final.

Most important is to score our chances and don't gift them easy goals like Bayern did.

It is in our hands. We will dominate and create more chances. It's all about finishing them and limit the gifts we give Inter.

This match-up favors us no doubt.

Even with Xavi in 2022 we dominated them over the 2 games. Created more chances and only Pique and a dumb ref made us lose the duel. That hand ball by Dumfries was one of the worst calls in the last years in CL.

Xavis choice if line up was horrendous to even put Pique in that position.

Was absolutely horrendous and left Piques weaknesses exposed. A player finished who wanted to retire in that previous summer.

Inter are a better side now though it would appear.

But yes Barca were unlucky in that away game really.

We simply have to be careful to not concede stupid goals with brain farts. Then we have every chance to take over the midfield and dominate Inter.

Yeah, right, like Flick vs Dortmund away a few days ago. Stupid to put Araujo in such a bad situation. Point stands, avoid cheap goals.

Yeah the whole team will need to be focused and it wont be easy.

No team will come into these games fully firing there is just too many games. Need to deal with it though.

The final v Real a few days before hand is terrible preparation really.

Wasn't Pique the only option we had in CB after Garcia due to the cursed September international break where Kounde, Araujo and I believe Christensen got injured
