Significanlty better defense? Newcastle is not Valencia to be able to keep a clean sheat with the likes of Garcia and Martin as starters.

Yea our starting defensive is better than there's, but truthfully I was thinking about balde at LB when I typed that 😂

But still
Kounde
Cubarsi
Araujo/Christensen

Better than what they have in defense,

Barca playing against a team who won a domestic trophy after 70 years and 3 out of 5 posters said it's a defeat.

Why so scared?
Maybe because it's a game away, in the CL and the biggest name we face this season. Their midfield looks physically strong and with Tonali pulling the strings they can ball a bit.

Although Newcastle lacking CL experience should see us as favourites.

I remember the last time we went there. Asprilla scored a hat tricks and we pulled 2 back. That was a famous victory for them. We started poorly and Newcastle jumped us.
The same could happen this time too. I don't know why but in Europe we always start slow and are always vulnerable to that early goal or two. Hope we are switched on and ready to go.
Didn’t we play there in the 2002-03 second group stage where we won like 2-1 3-1 in that game. 2002-03 we produced our best ever group stage campaign where we won 11/12 games and drew 1. And in the knockout round, we drew at Juve and lost due to a late Juve goal that downed us in extra time at the Camp Nou. Condemning us to no UCL for 1 year.

This post is for the Culers:

They are a great team.

They are very energetic, physical and have great cohesion and chemistry.

Howe has done a brilliant job.

Bruno and Tonali are some of the best players in their position.

Woltemade is huge with silky feet and can bully the Barca CBs. Dan Burn and Woltemade will be huge threats from set pieces.

They are strong on the break too.

Do not underestimate Newcastle.

Feel free to ask me more about Newcastle. Cheers.

Not optimistic for this one.

We have been having a slow start, nothing like last season around the same time,
and Newcastle's way of playing is a mare to us.
They can frustrate the hell out of you, they have minimal possession, but play fast breaks and press intensely.

Not only they won a cup final against Pool and twice against Arsenal last season playing like that, but in their last CL showing they thrashed Lucho's PSG by 4-1

They probably have more energy than Barca. Very dangerous on the break too.

Bruno and Tonali are physical and technical at the same time.

People will laugh at this but Dan Burn is a threat in both the boxes.

I'd start with:

---------------Garcia
Kounde-Cubarsi-Christensen-Martin
----------Casado-Pedri
Rapha------Fermin-----Rashford
--------------Lewy

Flick will probably play Ferran and Eric.
