Madrid have a top team. And underrated squad also. Simple facts. Don't have to be so upset about it. Just the fact that Barca can compete with them on low funds and even snatch a title is a big deal.

If we snatch another it's even better.

Just the fact some knew Barca didnt have a worse squad last season and could compete.

Some get upset they were wrong and Madrid lost.

Then try to tell us how Real never really tried and still the bestest.

Don't make me post again that Madrid last season checked their 11th CL semifinal in the last 13 seasons. Absolutely brutal. If you don't think they are an elite side, you must be some kind of flat-earther in football matters.

Haha Ronaldos time is not relevant.

Calma.

Real have won a tie past the QF once in the last 5 seasons.

Last season they were humiliated by City and lost league by double digits.

How many trophies we won past 2 decades mate?

You don't count those.

Even the other day when Atletico was whooping Madrid.. Sergei just had to say, oh, well they would still beat Liverpool easily.

Can't handle when they are losing or any Madrid criticism really.

I do think Reals first XI is right up there but their defence is running on fumes already and it's only October. Rudiger is the only available CB for them this weekend.

They are one Vini injury from a Joselu-Rodrygo front line. Rodrygo has not been great this year. He's 8 games without a goal contribution. Done well coming off the bench during their 21/22 season. Being a leader member of the team is a step up in role and responsibility.

No matter how you want to paint it, they squad given to Ancelotti has not been optimal.

His sentence can be rephrased as : Barca have won 8 LaLiga titles in the last 13 seasons. Absolutely brutal. Whoever doesn't think they are an elite side must be a flat earther or something.

And it actually makes more sense.

Yet he employs these arguments to big up Real Madrid and not Barca.

True, but both Barca and Madrid need to grind out 3 pts at this moment into the season. Madrid seem better prepared to do just that than last season, a bit like us last season actually.

Dude, you have no connection to reality.

Last 3 seasons for Madrid in CL.

2021 - semis
2022 - title
2023 - semis

Barca's results are abysmal by comparison. A trashing in last 16 vs PSG and 2 back to back CL groups exits. Madrid are simply superior at the top. That's it, accept it or not, it doesn't change that they are.

Madrid making 11 'semi finals' is evidence of them being a top club, but Barca winning 8 actual LaLiga titles over the same time period isnt referred to.

Absolutely galaxy brain mental gymnastics from Serghei.

Yes Real have won ties past the QFs once in last three seaosns.. two prior they couldnt win past group stages.

Real fair get some credit for getting cunted by Chelsea and City in semis and Ajax/City in last 16.

Well done them. They are so good that they managed to lose a league by double digits to a Barca you claim is in ruins and unable to compete with any top club.

What a team.

Fantastic performance by the players and Xavi. To win a title like that against current Madrid. I'm not the one shitting on Xavi around here.
