Atmosphere will be electric; St. James is incredibly loud and intimidating.
We need to be cold, clinical and composed. We'll suffer but we must believe in the process.

Would love to see a performance like the first meeting earlier in the season but for an extended length.

yep, they will be on fire, cant take PL as a reference

atletico was also mostly crap in ll and then in Copa they showed a different face (1st leg), expecting the same thing from Newcastle too

The fatigue we saw in last game is concerning and needs to be have been dealt with by Tuesday. Last game we were shaking under their relentless pressure and home crowd atmosphere for the first 15 minutes and we were lucky not to concede a goal. It won't be any different this time around.

They spent over 400 million in last 3 years on reinforcing while Barca...

And here we are talking how we are big favourites
They spent 400 million on shite, because no sane top player would want to join a midtable EPL team and live in fucking Newcastle.

A terrible comparison, considering Barca pays big wages and is a top 2 side in the world as a whole when it comes to player attraction.

Let's see what effect this whole 'focus camp' has on the players. Would think players rest best in the comfort of their own homes, but we hopefully won't see another lazy start where we concede 1-2 goals early.
