They were the far better team on the night, registering more shots on target (11) than they had ever had in a Champions League knockout-stage match on record (since 2003-04), and creating more than enough chances to deserve their win. They racked up 3.85 xG to Barcelona’s 0.49 – the difference of 3.36 was the biggest in any knockout match this season so far, 1.01 xG ahead of the second-biggest gap (+2.35 xG for Bayern Munich vs Bayer Leverkusen).

WTF, Dortmund is really a different beast at home.

Why are people acting so surprised? Even in the first leg, Dortmund had a good number of chances at 1-0. If Guirassy was more clinical, that gane could have turned out closer than the 4-0.
Pretty much. People are overlooking the fact that we also have some degree of luck going our way this season.

Typical, if it's Mbappe its 100% a penalty. In the long history of Real madrid only during the years of 2009-2018 they didnt get help from refs because they hated CR7 more than they love RM !

No help indeed!

Record hitting woodwork and chance created speak otherwise.

Team is here because they deserved it.

We got outplayed in maybe 3 matches entire season but lost points in many more so there is that as well.

I'm not saying we aren't here on merit. But put us on the other side of the CL bracket and it's a tougher task.

We were mostly spared by big injuries in key positions.

Refs didn't try to fuck us as much.

Real being worse than last season.

Tbh I fell asleep when it was 2-1 because last days been exhausting. I'm just happy the team got to the semis and now everything starts from zero. Take this game as a warning sign but don't let the negative comments get to the players heads. They play a great season and when they play like they did in majority of games it will be hard for any team to beat this Barça.

And one thing: never ever again play with white shorts! That alone was eye cancer.

So what you are saying is, this was the GOAT Dortmund performance in a knockout game and we still went through.

Ain't no stopping Don Flick is there

You're welcome

We lost first keeper. We lost Frenkie. Lamine got injured. Argentinians messed up Raphinha. We’re playing with Tractor. Now we missing Balde.

By luck do you mean retired chainsmoking keeper is outperforming Ter Stegen?

I'm not saying you're wrong, but you are painting a very tinted picture.

Me lost our keep and replaced him with what everyone thinks is a better keeper.

Frenkie injury made 0 difference to our performance, as casado was damn near WC while he was out.

Raph has been off for 3 games relax lol.

That tractor has 40+ goals.

So the only thing on your list that might actually affect our performance is balde.

Absolute bollocks did Frenkie injury make no difference.

Barca were 7 points off Real and 1 win in 8 before in league before he came back into team fully fit. Then played a big part in unbeaten run and into semi finals of CL and final of Copa.

Usual clueless nonsense. Cant even see the difference between the two and why Flick put FDJ back in as starter.

Casado was struggling in those games multiple times and also after that when had to come off for team to improve. Was awful in his last game before injury also.

Casado went through a much bigger spell of poorer form than made out as Barca fell 7 points behind Real.
