These first halves are gonna be painful to watch as long as we have this defense. Opponents arrive very well-prepared and super motivated. It is very hard for the attack to come through their block. If their keeper has a great day it is difficult to score from these few chances.
The good thing is that they can't keep this tempo for a whole game and most of the time pay for their sacrifices in the 2nd. Worth a mention that Barça looks physically prepared to turn the game around as shown few times already.
I have to agree with Kroos though that Barça won't win a CL with this approach. Defense is weaker than last season because Inigo is gone. Only way to surprise is that Joan Garcia has one of these days as opposing keepers usually have against Barça.
Our defense yesterday wasn't bad. Most of their chances were ruled offside. We had plenty of chances; we should have scored two goals in the first half alone. Arsenal, Bayern, etc., also conceded goals yesterday.
Yesterday's goal resulted from a series of errors by Koundé and especially Garcia.
Our Defence is weak but i see no difference to last year with inigo. Cl groupstage last year: 13 goals against
