EPL are lucky also that Arsenal, their strongest side, got the easiest draw of the bench. Or else they could be looking at 1 CL semifinal appearance in 3 years.

Arsenal won the table so if anyone deserves that run it is them really.

As said draw matters.

Arsenal and Liverpool could well have been along with PSG the best last season.. but met PSG on way.

Arsenal also hammered Real last season and went out to winners.

Hopefully Barca can beat them if meet.

Barca is so far from the top teams in CL atm.

Chelsea lost 0-3 at home vs. Q$G, the same team that beat Barca 3-0 there not long ago.

Real VARdrid at it again

2 penalty cases for City before the 0-1, and the VAR room ignores them to call the ref.
The VAR room also selects the wrong City player for the Vinicius offside call in the Bernardo handball play

Coincidece, it must be

PS: I don't think City would have gone though anyway.
But they sliced through their double bus with ease, even with 10 players.
That's reassuring for Bayern to maul them

Arsenal looked very strong too up until recently, QSG, Bayern, Arsenal look far stronger overall and Barca is lost physically so I'm quite skeptical about our chances to make the semis atm.

We don't play vs Arsenal in quarters should we beat Newcastle. We play vs Atletico or Tottenham. So we do make the semis if we beat the sides we should beat.

From then on, situation gets very complicated and we need some massive overachievement and a truly memorable night from 5-6 players at once to go to a final, let alone win it.

Chelsea defence make too many mistakes and PSG kills teams for that. They are ruthless if get numbers or space.

Likes of Arsenal are the tighest team at the back going and would most likely be a tight tie.

Bayern did PSG and Arsenal did Bayern

As it stands those three look the best but it is knock out football and anything can happen.

Would guess if Barca played Arsenal ten times then Arsenal win more often than not as would be so dominant physically and would wear Barca down.

But if that is 7 out of 10 times you hope the tie goes one of the 3 other.

Can bet you bottom dollar the Chelsea changing room mock that numpty that is in charge and the garbage he talks.

Done nothing to be qualified for that job.

But even then their squad is not up there with very best in CL.

They dont have the defence or the GK for it.

Yeah but we were one man down, so it's an unfair comparison. If we can beat RM, we sure af can beat Chelsea. It just wasn't our night.

Chelsea imploded since then.

Chelsea changed their coach since then

Maresca has the knack of delivering stellar and WC tactical performances in big games.
Happened time and time again.

Compare the 3-0 Club World Cup final against PSG to the 2 displays by Ronsenior.
Do you think that would have been the same if MAresca was still around?

15 managers under Abramovich between 2000-2022. No mercy

Edit. Some of them were appointed twice.

Who can forget Di Matteo, the CL winner. Wonder what ever happened to him.
