Just talk9ing MD1. A lot of them clash at 8pm though.

The 5.45 pm kicks off look fairly weak on paper. Whereas you have games like Liverpool-Atletico, PSG-Atalanta and Bayern - Chelsea all kicking off at the same time. Ditto Man City - Napoli and Newcastle - Barca.

Athletic Arsenal as the first game of the tournament (next to PSV - USG) seems a promising match.

Why the heck do they keep 4 games at once?
Just doesn't make sense. A half-hour to an hour difference gives you a lot of room to watch most good games.

Have to think of the players too and their routines, times etc. They're the protagonists and player welfare is more important than when us fans can watch.
I mean if we keep the start at around 7:30 for a match and then have another in 30mins intervals, and so on.
Don't think much of a difference can be had.
Or am I wrong here?

Not wrong, just think it would confuse a lot of people who are already set in their ways.

Plays havoc with return travel for away teams and stuff, too.

There are some good games that clash, but overall I think being able to watch 33 games live on TV if not at stadiums (only if one at a time) of 144 in the group stage is a good deal
