Destroyed? Not even close. Would have been a great, competitive final. We fecked up vs Inter.

Inter barely tested PSG's defense. Vs Barcelona it would be completely different.
It all started with Inigo slipping like a bum in min 1.

That set the tone for the tie in terms of our "defense".

Farmer's league is ideal for deep runs in the UCL. That's the major advantage of playing in a lesser league. Happy for Lucho, ultimately this all comes down to him and he deserves his flowers.

Farmers made it tough in CL in the past decades, it was difficult to turn another gear up when you had no competition.

But, new format put a lot of strain on teams competing in top leagues with those extra games and crowded schedule.

Why is everyone so sure Dembele gets a Ballon? He's one of the favorites sure, but not locked in.

They scored 5 and he didn't score a single one (but assisted 2 yes). Overall good performance but not the reason for PSG win by any means.

By far the best (and most entertaining) performance by a team I've seen this year.

PSG/Barca would have been more of a fight. Inter just way over their head.

PSG showing in the first 12 minutes what Barca couldn't show in 120— the movement, accuracy, and ball control to weave quick deadly passes in the opponents heavily packed final third.

My thoughts exactly.

Thought he only had one.

Nations League may decide it, depending on who cooks who.

Spain vs France next week in the Semi.

Nah, way more than just that one. There were at least 5-6 big blunders. Inigo, Cubarsi 2-3 times, Araujo the bum 2-3 times. At this level, you can clown around in defense like that. Simply can't do it.

PSG made ZERO defensive errors in this game. That is the huge difference between the team.

On a tactical level, PSG sets up in such a way that they protect the defense while they attack. We play as if the only purpose is to attack and everything else is unimportant.

Spanish philosophy is simply better than the German one.
