It's a clear rule.
Such terrible luck, but you're playing with fire when it goes to a penalty shootout with a GK that's terrible at them, versus a team more used to the pressure of taking them.

Here guys, read

Consequences:
1. The penalty is disallowed, meaning it does not count as a goal.

2. The opposing team does not get a retake; the penalty is simply recorded as a miss.

3. The shootout continues with the next player if it's not yet decided.

This is based on Law 14 (The Penalty Kick) from the IFAB Laws of the Game, which states that the taker must not touch the ball again until another player has played it.

Should be amended in many ways

- slipping isn't touching the ball intentionally twice

- retake should be given like it is with the keeper gaining advantage

That's beyond ridiculous

I said Atletico don't stand a chance historically in the next 5000 years to beat Real Madrid in Europe after regular time.

The reality of a Barca - Real Madrid CL final just became more real.

Is there a replay where it clearly shows him kicking it twice? Obviously he slips but they keep showing the same camera angle on TNT.

Stupid rule indeed, but it is as it is.

Atletico should be proud of themselves imo. Had the bigger chances overall. But Madrid is tough to beat and Arsenal and PSG are gonna find out soon.
How is that stupid? The penalty taker messed up. No outside forces. It's fucking clear cut.

Just usual whining about a RM win.
