The most stupid and hideous thing right now at CN for me it's building a sector for fans while not allowing them to enter. I won't go into that again but why did they close that sector completely and cover it with those flags (or how you call it?)? Why don't they let regular folks sit there so we can actually have the full capacity that we could right now? It also looks horrible and there is no need for it.
Good question, can't think of a logical reason.

Well, the official statement from the club said they closed the entire sector, because the grada animation failed to meet their obligations up to three different deadlines. This sector isn't a normal one, but has a contract with the club. They sign some rules and obligations to support the team and behave in a certain way, that doesn't harm the club, in return they get discounted season tickets, no one else gets.

So I guess it's a mix between deliberate sanctions, but also to keep this sector open for them to return anytime, if they meet their obligations. Or for other groups as well, if the club finds new ultras willing to take over the sector. Shouldn't be too difficult, as the grada is very small in comparison to other clubs, like 500 people?
Filling this sector with normal fans could make the impression, the club wants to get rid of them entirely and maybe they don't want fans to think that, because it would hurt Laporta obviously.

It's hard to tell the real reason, because the club remains silent on this topic apart from the official statement a year ago and a short notice in summer, that they speak with other groups as well.

This is also something I blame Laporta for. A year has passed and the club wasn't able to either find a solution with the current grada animation or find a new group. At the montjuic it didn't matter much, but back in the Camp Nou it starts to hurt us obviously, although we won all 3 home games so far. I just hope Laporta pushes the issue up in the priority queue.

It's not reserved for Grada d'Animacio, they are no longer welcome by Laporta.

Elena Fort announced in October, that a new supporter group will be formed. Gol 1957.
Elena Fort also announced details of the new fans' group named 'Gol 1957' in tribute to the stadium's original inauguration on 24 September 1957. This group, which will is not yet available for the return to the stadium, is designed to be a source of support at Spotify Camp Nou. It will be formed by fans aged between 18 and 25 years age who have been on the waiting list for more than five years, with a guaranteed gender balance and an attendance of to more than 80% of matches.
The reason for that sector being covered is that they are still in the process of selection.

I agree, but Laporta wants the cleanest image of the club for the sponsors to see.

All of this because an idiot from Grada gave jokingly Hansi Flick the Nazi salute in Monaco last year.

Ceramic slate installation will accelerate because there are more machines now working on them.. a few weeks I guess before we would have an avant gout of the final appearance with the slates.

That was just an excuse to get rid of them. He wants to get rid of them because he can't control them and because they sang against him. I'm repeating myself and it seems not many people here care about it, after all it's mostly a forum for internet/TV fans, not real ones.

No self respected ultra' group would do that. They are to small and without influence anyway, this is not Italy with their mafia where it could happen.

Does anyone have contacts to the club management and could find out whether the gap on the right side of the opposite stand will still be closed?

So if we treated fans like shit in the old stadium we should do it in the new one too? Good argument. Imagine paying those absurd prices for tickets and you come to the stadium and this shit is in front of you.
