Liverpool most likely going for Isak. If its not going to happen this year, its going to be next year. And we wont be able to compete with the bidding war that would ensue.
So all of this considered, I think Sesko might be the only prime target left next year for us. Ekitike is also there, but Sesko seems to be better at the moment.
Newcastle might also come into the scene, but if we are in the market, they shouldn't be an issue to us.
I don't know any other strikers at this current moment, or who can be available next season. So if we replace Lewa next season, Sesko might be the only realistic option next season.
I hope he improves cuz at this moment he id quite raw, but I will keep an eye on him this season long.
And hope the club gets in contact with him this summer to assess his situation, and keep tabs on him.
But knowing Deco & Fatporta, we probably will be chasing Alvarez or Haaland the whole summer to avail.
Or we may actually drop the lone striker pursuit, get an LW, and move Raphinah to CF. I would be ok with that. Atleast its less of a gamble.
