That All-Star edition hands down was the most competitive in years. One thing Adam Silver finally figured out.

Wemby elevated the competition right from the get go. SGA, Jokic, Luka, Giannis were all limited/injured.

Heard nothing but great things of Israel

Must be deaf
It's been very clear for many years now that Lebron has an army of PR advisors around him to ensure he doesn't say anything controversial. The NBA is the only sports league (so far) to be completely run mostly by Jews. His team knows that they can't say anything bad about Israel.

On the other hand, you have Kyrie still speaking out but it won't be long until he's completely blacklisted from the league. He already sorta is.

Spurs caught up with the Thunder, on an 11 W streak. SGA is still injured, so probably there will be a change in the leadership in the West next week.

Wemby is a big factor in this, but he still doesn't play 18 minutes of any game. In fact nobody on the roster is averaging above 30 minutes. The great draft picks in recent years is finally starting to pay off. The addition of Fox was huge. The rotation players are also remarkable, the only soft spot is the lack of solid PF.

Bam Adebayo dropped 83 points against Washington Wizards to become the 2nd highest scoring player in NBA history. Surpassing Kobe.

36 points of 83 came from free throws. And 11 of those Adebayo FT came in the last few minutes with Wizards fouling him every shot, when the game was already over, down by 20 points.

Kobe fans call for investigation on sports betting. Could be, but Heat manufactured this and utilized on Wizards tanking mentality. This record of Adebayo will live with an asterisk for a long long time. Wizards tanking, 36 free throws, Adebayo not being an elite player with 20.0 PPG.

NBA continue to shit over themselves and legacy by tolerating tanking culture.

I mean,. teams have been tanking for decades and no one put such number, so there is that.
Gambling, however, is a whole new thing to the NBA, and they are already suffering from it but Silver is hell bent on making it work and shoving it into everyone's face.
There is a reason the NBA welcomed the Adelson's with open arms and helped to kick Cuban out for them.

Washington are different. They traded for three big names in Trae, D'Angelo Russel and AD, all injured. They traded to overturn the season or continue tanking?

It's a perfect combo of tanking, betting, injuries and playing G League level players. If Bam can do it against Wizards, so can anybody.

They have traded for those players for next season. This year they are tanking, and doing it hard. Along the Jazz (who has a much better team), the Pacers (due to the loss of Halliburton), Nets, and then the likes of the Mavs & Memphis joined them. Mainly because of the crazy hype for this year draft.

Only team that genuinely sucked is Pelicans, who don't own their pick.

Silver said he will tackle tanking, and guess what is the reason? It isn't good for the gambling partners. This is why it is being pushed (he didn't say it publicly, but it is the most accepted story).
