Ohtani on the verge of becoming the first player in history in the 50-50 club.

48 HR, 49 SB

Has slowed down a bit lately but Dodgers still have 10 games to play so think he will do it.

Best athlete in the world right now by far. Nobody can do what he's doing and he's not even pitching this season.

What a season for my Seattle Mariners.

1. First AL West title since that record 116-win 2001 season. Cal "Big Dumper" Raleigh had a historic season and became the first catcher in MLB history to hit 60 HRs.

2. We beat Detroit 3-2 in AL Divisional series to qualify for the ALCS. Game 5 against the Tigers was an epic 15. inning thriller.

3. With just around 36 hours of rest we had to travel accross the country (and border) to Toronto facing a rested Blue Jays team that were flying high after destroying the Yankees and also started of with a first-pitch Springer's HR. But then Bryce Miller (on just a 3-day rest) and bullpen close down that potent offense and ofc it was Raleigh's HR that started a comeback to win game 1.

Game 2 follows tonight. Before series start (and especially with how much physical and mental effort that game 5 took) I would take a 1-1 split in Toronto before heading back to Seattle for next three games but now ofc I want and hope for more.

On the other side NLCS also starts today with Milwaukee Brewers (best team in regular season) hosting the defending champions LA Dodgers.
