There is only one player that fits the bill and has the potential to be a legend at this club: Julian Alvarez.

I like Julian but this kind of thinking is in big part responsible for why Barca is in current financial state imo. We (and here I mean the club not fans who will obviously have different opinions and zero impact on club's sporting decisions) usually fall in love with one particular player and have in the end to either overpay for him or don't bring anyone at all and have a hole in the team. Alternatively we sometimes also sign someone who is a different profile to the player we were initially targeting that was actually what we needed at the time (think Paulinho and Verratti, lol). We just don't seem to have plans B and C on the market. And that's mostly been going on since I can remember regardless of who is in charge of the club so can't really blame one or a few individuals for that.

Look, Atletico will want like 150-200mil while we can't sign even substitute left and right back.

Our best case is getting Guirassy from BVB.

Also Deco said we will not go 100% for it, which is not worst idea ever.

I would rather get Nico the traitor Williams or someone like that which is winger, keep Rashford for one more year and then after year try to see what market says.
