I am OK with him wanting certain players, of course, he is the coach.
However, the relentlessness in wanting to sign this Marcos guy (which I truly have no idea how good he is) at the expense of going after other targets such as Benatia and Laporte. Now sounds like we are increasingly running out of time and prospective targets to buy, we are going to settle on guys like Vemaelen?
Sigh.
There is nothing wrong with his wish to sign Marquinhos. I'm surprised that everyone jumps on the darthvader train and roots for players just for the sake of it. Laporte? He is a decent player, very young and promising but we pretty much covered his possible position in the team with the Mathieu. Benatia? I rooted for Benatia too (a few months ago) but I realized that I don't have profound knowlegde of him to root for him but I don't call Lucho clueless just because he doesn't want to sign him. Could you please tell me a little more about him? How is his passing game? Is his build-up play decent? Can you name match where he impressed you so much that you would sign him for 50m? Can you? I'll eat my words, if you watch AS Roma matches regulary but until then I have a point.
Furthermore, there is more than a freaking month left. It's not like that it's end of August.
I have no problem with people who complain about players (if they know the to a certain degree) but it annoys me that people call Lucho clueless just because he wants to sign one of the most promising youngsters in the world. It's simply annoying. How can you be so frustrated after such a, so far, successful transfer window? It's not like we only signed Neymar and bought Bojan back for 13m like last year. I don't understand how someone can call himself a fan when he shows no trust in our coach. Instead Culés base their hate on BS MD and Sport rumours and insult the club because they didn't sign a player who they just know from Youtube.
Edit: Sometimes I wish this forum was German because I have the feeling that I can't express my opinion properly with my level of English. Sigh
