You can say we are in a transitional period, and perhaps you are right, but you are forgetting one very important fact. Lionel Messi.

Do you want to spend his PRIME re-building the team for a few years? Nah, the only reason why we had the success we've had was because a 21 year old kid decided to step up and lead his team to Champion's League victory. We had good players then, and great players now- but let's not forget who this team revolves around.

Seems a shame to put success on the back-burner because we didn't spend money on at least two good defenders- which we're ultimately going to have to do eventually anyway.

I couldn't have said it better myself. No expense should be spared in surrounding Messi with the worlds best players and milking him for every ounce of success. With such a talented individual we should be looking to win another 3-4 CL's before his career is finished. We may never have a player as good as him again so it would be a shame to look back and see missed opportunities. Neymars purchase was a step in the right direction, now hopefully we can regain our defensive strength from 2009-2011.

I don't think Barca will sell Pedro even if PSG offers 100m. Mostly because of Thiago Silva saga and partly because Pedro will not want to leave.

I know it's Marca and the whole thing (including the bid itself) is probably pure BS, but if it's true.

If they really did make it such a bid, take it and run a million miles. Doing anything else would be crazy.

NOt for next 10 years. We don't want another ball keeper/dribbler in the team. We currently have best possible combo in Alexis, pedro neymar messi.


Pedro is super hot property. If we were to sell i bet, clubs like chelsea, manu will be alert. As moyes and mourinho will know his worth. And our
management knows it too. He doesn't seems to be very popular just in this forum. Otherwise he is a beast IMO.
