IMO, it's a close call between Alves and Fabregas.

Dani 10000%. Who has the most assists to Messi? Not Xavi or Iniesta. It's Dani. His connection to the Argie is what made Messi blossom IMO.

I voted Fabregas, but now that I think about it, it was definitely Alves.

Alves just edges it ahead of Piqué, who was arguably the better purchase due to his lower cost, but since we've got a lot of money that factor isn't as important. After that it's a long way to go, and those three are similarly placed, although I'd probably put Villa last since he was out injured for so long (and was very expensive).

All the guys in the poll were great signings imo. And we made some good but not great signings (Mascherano, Adriano, Afellay (coz he was so cheap)). But yes, we've made some incredibly shitty signings too (Ibra, Sanchez, etc).
