Must be fun going into the toy's store as a kid with millionaires parents and just point out the things you want. Fuck Uefa, Ceferin, Enrique and everyone who supports this shit.

Yeah. No wonder Ceferins favorite clubs are likes of PSG.
I am past being disappointed with managers. Pep going to City was big betrayal of principles. Remember how he washed himself with Bayern choice explaining it's a historic club ran on a healthy model.

It is more likely that Milan think Julian Araujo is still on our books and want to straight swap him for Leao, than they would want Ronald Araujo after his latest adventures in the Champions League.

I mean, Milan isn't in Champions league, so no worries in that regard.

Why would anyone stop PSG from pouring oil money into football? To protect a dying breed of ownership? Football clubs are almost all funded by the richest people in the world these days. Only the 3 biggest clubs have resisted this change.

Another brainwashed fella. Look son

The moment sports clubs stopped being about local people + local academies (hence the names like FC yada Manchester yada) pro
Sports became something else.. being financed to recruit foreigners by : [local banks, International banks, mafias, cartels, sponsors, billionaires, states , galaxies]
All of these are mere variations of the same phenomenon.

Aye I don't buy 'oil clubs ruining football' either, from traditionally bigger clubs.

Every club on the planet has dodgy stuff going on. Whether they're owned by Arabs or not.

Those fans clearly are at loss here. I personally watch football for entertainment value but im not deluded.. one has to answer one simple question and all ideals will crumble.. whats the difference for example between real madrid and arsenal ? Absolutely nothing at all except the name. Foreigners being recruited and assembled randomly to kick a ball thats it. All the rest is just details and smoke.

The organization bodies could have done somethigng very minimal to keep the concept of " club " to a degree if they implemented some regulatory rules ages ago ( example: only 3 players maximum outside residents of the city , native or grown there ). Thats why the only kind of football known , relatively speaking of course , that i know of is atletico belbao. All of the rest is just an offspring of a marriage between capital and sports..

Bottom line i enjoy personally football for what it is and thats that. Im not an idiot

There is a big difference between a rich person and a state ownership. A rich person has boundaries, a state has none. A rich person can't usually afford to waste a billion Euros, an oil state can if it sees the club as a big advertise banner for tourism.
You can somewhat compete against a rich person, you absolutely can't against a state. PSG came to Barca's offices with a suitcase with 222m Euros and accelerated the disgusting inflation in football.

Well an oil state is just a rich person. And whether VisitSaudi sponsoring is any worse than BP sponsoring is just a matter of perception and which side your values lie.

The bigger issue is an uncapped salary situation in European football with different leagues having different FFP rulings. The sport is too big and too internationally diversified compared to say NFL.

And of course Barcelona as a badly run fan owned model being most harmed by this. Logically a fan owned club not for profit club doesn't need to run at the same FFP rations as a privately owned company owning a club. This is just basics, but LaLiga measures the FFP the same for both entities.

It is what it is, a broken system.

This + an obviously corrupt UEFA.

If not Qatar or Abu Dhabi then someone else would do it.

The local people agreed to go big and win more stuff. If you want to be competitive, you need to sacrifice in some stuff.
Want to stay local? Stop dreaming about winning big. Want to win big? Stop dreaming about staying local and small.
Its either or. You cant do both in Capitalismous.
