What should the club prioritize

None of the striker options really make sense right now. Isak will cost too much. Sesko still unproven. Gyokeres probably too old for the cost. Will have to look for a prospect or low cost older player or wait until next summer.

And I don't agree on bringing Rashford. Theres a good mood in the club now and bringing a guy from a toxic situation who has been dropped from the match day squad is too much of a risk. Flick needs high intensity players for this setup and he's none of that right now.

We will wait forever if we want a striker who tics all boxes

Maybe opt for false 9 in meantime. Put Nico in the mix too for the next season.
Nico would cost 60ish m, and he’s shown nothing this season. If anything, he regressed.

Think we can make much smarter moves in the market for our money.

Absolutely. Not a fan of Nico either. Just stating we are probably getting him since everyone in Barca wants him.

I would go for a veteran #9 for one season to compete with Lewa as Pole isn't moving before 2026. Budimir from Osasuna kind of player. Scores a lot and works hard. Menace in air.

Summer 2026 get a world-class #9.

TBH i would get Rashford on loan, let's see if he is capable to bring something new.
Also would love to see some replacement for RB and LB.

Rather take the time to make the right decision rather than another Griezman/Coutinho situation..
Exactly... No need for another crazy useless transfers. We need to choose wisely.
If there is a free agent and is a good option to give depth to the squad , then the board gotta do something.
Tah seems to be a good transfer. I would bail out Fati , De Jong , Torres and bring in those who are fit and Barca level.

Barca loves chasing old targets, wouldn’t be surprised if we go for Nico.

Didn’t realize Budimir was 33 before your post. The striker decision might depend on how highly we rate Šeško. He’s moving this summer and if we think he’s set to explode, taking a risk makes sense.

Barca’s biggest issues are depth and fullbacks. Balde is the weakest link, ideally we upgrade but at least one preferably two FBs are a must. A winger like Bryan Zaragoza, cheap, effective, hardworking and fast, could be a quick fix. Plus we need to sort out our CB situation, too many unreliable players for various reasons.

How are these example relevant? We literally signed both in positions we didn't need, when we go for a striker, it will be the absolute biggest need in the team.
CF is the only position we are 100% sure we need a starter there before 2026/2027.

And how long would you suggest us to wait? 2 years?5 years? 10? Because this perfect target won't be available unless we are capable of splashing 120M+ on someone who will be Hallandesque

I doubt we can sustain a false 9, it is one of those gameplans that are better to surprise opponents occasionally rather than consistently
However, I can see the club being more dependent on wings for scoring than no9, I can see someone like Darwin here for example, who can provide most of what you need in modern 9, except scoring the essential amount of goals. A bit like Morata does with Spain. Vlahovic might be another option. Those folks won't cost an arm and leg, but are underwhelming.

The smart thing to do is keep Lewa one more year. Sesko is not that great let's be real. People only think about age. If Haaland is gone that's fine. It's time to think about things other than striker and wait and see.

Someone said Bryan Zaragoza. That's a smart buy. Maybe we could go after a solid LB of some sort too. We could mostly save for 1 summer and drop a mother lode on the next big striker.

Also people may find this laughable we could try for someone like Darwin Nunez if Liverpool are looking to unload. He could be a low risk big reward. Lewa blows about 5 chances a game so not much different

Nunez is the Darwin award winner of strikers.
Vlahovic is so bad that juve is signing a just a shit striker out of desperation.

Lewy will always be better than them.

I think that's the smartest thing if Lewa is staying and we don't rate Šeško enough. Just buy a winger Nico or Leao and then try out Olmo/Rapha/Leao as false 9. In the games where we need a real 9 we still have Lewa.

After Lewa leaves you buy a new 9 in 2026 and all the other players still have a place in the team.

Still prefer Šeško or even Isak but that's more realistic.
