What should the club prioritize

I don't really care about Tah. But we will need a new CB by summer 2026 at most. Christensen & Inigo shouldn't be renewed beyond that time and we need someone who elevates the team.

A physical one too, we don't have a single CB who is raller than 1.88 cm, only Araujo is quick too. We lack that physical beast that is needed for defense

Reports are, we decided not to pursue the Tah transfer and he started to look at Bayern, because Hansi turned Garcia around and Araujo's future isn't decided either. Looks like he isn't our priority anyways, people should let him go.

This as been my thinking the past few weeks, I'm pretty sure we are starting the season with the same defenders we have now, a fit Christensen will help obviously.

Only way that changes is if we sell araujo and even then, I think they will just invest that money else where and go with what we have.

Martinez, Cubarsi, Christensen, Garcia.

If we get a RB, then that's Kounde as well when needed.

Get out of here, forget about Diaz.

No sane club would go into the season with Inigo, Cubarsi, Christensen, and Garcia as their CB options.

The best move would be to trade Araujo for a competent CB.

Or count on Kounde there if a higher profile RB comes in.

The thing is if Flick is watching Araujo in training and thinking that with a full pre-season that he can be one of the best centers.

If that's the case then better to invest in other areas.

Doubt we'll find that guy unless Araujo is sold first.

Unless someone like Konate flat out inform Liverpool he isn't renewing, and even then PSG and Real Madrid are reportedly also interested in him.

If we sign a CB this summer or the next one I hope it's someone that's a perfect fit. Tall and physical, quick and a good passer. If he's left footed then even better.

Very few guys like that available though.

Obviously, getting a CB depends on Araujo. If he stays, we're not getting a new one before 2026.

I'm not a fan, but that's reasonable.

Major changes at CB and GK (while unlikely) could boost us the most, in my opinion. In other positions we mostly need depth.

Micky Van de Ven is a very intriguing option. Haven't given much thought to him before because I'd rather shoot myself than watch Tottenham play regularly.

But he projects well. Might be the quickest CB in the world. 1.93m. Good passer and ball carrier. Left-footed.

Issue obviously is a long contract + high price tag.
