Ratui at Rayo is a strange one.. he has been very very good v Barca and outshone Kounde in those games.

He defended very well with pace/aggression with Vini and was left 1v1 with him which is huge for structure of team if full back can do that.

He is my choice for RB, good, athletic and in his prime. I agree it seems weird that no one has gone for him.

Against us, I also liked Pep Chavarria, their LB, he did well too and I felt we could use him over someone like Martin. But it is a small sample size. Stats this season looks solid, except for passing which is a red flag.

Barca cannot win UCL until it becomes a club that nurtures it's players. You cannot just jam 18 yr old everywhere and expect good things to happen.

You need Vets:
They have know how and experience. They also can help teach the young players and develop them a bit faster.

We have Lewa and nobody else for that.

You need top tier prime players:
These are the backbone of the team and are at the top of their powers.

We have Frenkie, Rashford, Raphinha, maybe Kounde. Not enough

You need high level rising star players:
These push hard to surpass the prime players and have the chance to become superstars. Young and full of energy. Prone to errors and low in experience.

We have: Yamal, Pedri, Fermin, Balde, Cubarsi, Joan Garcia. We are good here but they all start games.

So, basically nobody is teaching the young players because we have a few in their prime and no vets at all besides Lewa.

If we let go of the granny Polish tractor, and Fatporta hasn't lied again and we are in 1:1 next summer,
I think all of these are feasible:

Munoz RB (ship Kounde or bench),
Grimaldo LB (compete with Balde, ship Martin)
Schloterbeck LCB (straight out starter)
Rashford LW (pay the 30m clause)
Osimen or Thuram CF (don't think Atleti will sell Alvarez to us)

ideally, we also get another LW or AM and ship frAULMO

You can also add
saliba RCB
Nuno mendes LB back up
Haaland as backup for oshimen
Doue LW
Rodri CDM

and then you woke up

Nice try

All of the ones I mentioned are either free in the summer, or purchasable for little money given the market.

Only exception is the striker position, where if Fatporta hasn't lied again about 1:1 we will be able to spend 70-90m to get

Oshimen 90-100 million + 30 million gross per year (would earn more than lewa)
Munoz contract till 2029– would cost 30-50 million + wages
Schlotterbeck 40 million + wages
Grimaldo 15-20 millio + wages
(Thuram would also cost about 60-90 million+ wages)

That would be 190 (+\-20) + wages

i would be very happy if we get just schlotterbeck

Keep trying...

Munoz will be let go for 20-25m, wage will be max 5m gross
Slotterbeck's contract ends in 2027, worst case 30m, wage will be max 7m gross
Grimaldo same contract, worst case 15m, wage will be max 8m gross
Rashford's RC is 30m, his current wage is 14m gross
Osimen and Thuram can both be gotten for around 80m, wages will be around 12m gross

if you do the amortization (5yr contract for Schlotterbeck, 4 for Rashford/Osimen/Thuram, 3 for the fullbacks)
the total ADDITIONAL cost is around 78m GROSS per year

Now, you have to subtract the yearly book cost of ones leaving or let go, like Lewa (40m gross), STegen (20m gross), Kounde (30m gross).
Those 3 alone are enough to cover the cost of all the above transfers

Oh, and all that is without taking into account the fact that 1:1 means we won't have the same salary cap (of 351m now) that will rise drastically (above 500m)

PS: All that of course under the condition that Fatporta isn't lying again, and the club will be in the 1:1 already this winter, or at least by summer

Sry you are talking such a nonsense

Oshimen gets 15 million net-> 30 million gross at gala and he got clearly more expensive now
Your other salary calculations are just wishful thinking. You think we're playing FIFA Manager here. And the last thing Barca needs is such an expensive summer.

Numbers out of your arse again?
Osimen costs 20m total gross at Gala, and not 30.
And it is evident that if he ever wants to play for Barca, he won't get something not even close to 15m net.
He will have to accept to be in line with the current salary structure, which means he won't get more than Raphina, who is already proven at Barca, or Rashford.
14m gross is the ceiling of what he can get here as first contract...

Now you avoid answering, because I proved you with numbers that you are wrong.
Barca can make those signings in the summer if we are in the 1:1, and we let go Lewa.

People don't have a clue how finances work, yet wanna have all kinds of opinion on it

You proved nothing. You are just spreading fake news.
Oshimen gets 15 million net, this means about 19 million gross in turkey because they have lower tax rate for professional athletes. My 30 million gross figure referred to Spain.
In spain you have to pay close to 30 million to have a 15 million net salary.

You say he has to accept 14 million gross = 7 million net (in spain). So you mean he would accept to lower his salary by over 50% just to play for barca.

@Birdy you are the biggest dreamer i saw on this forum

1) Which means that you spread fake news, as the 20m gross figure is correct.
Take the L and accept it

2) Evidently, he went to Gala for money, and if he wants to get the same at Barca, he will never come here.
Fatporta is idiot, but not idiot enough to give something more than 15m gross to Osimen.

3) Sheer calculations.
Is it feasible within the wage structure, given that we will be in the 1:1 and let go of Lewa's wages?
It is...
Whether it will happen is another question
