Do nothing this season and go into next year with an expiring Lewa. Possibly sell Araujo. Possibly sell Ter Stegen.

Not this summer but the next Barca secures the club for yrs signing Haaland/Alvarez as Lewa's replacement.

Laporta and Deco talked a lot about renewals, so looking at the squad:

Players like Inaki, Torre, Lenglet, Romeu & Fati are players we aren't trying to renew. We are likely aiming for them

Inigo & Lewa renewals for next season was done.

G. Martin, Pedri, Gavi, Raphinha, Cubarsi, Araujo & Fermin already signed long term contracts.

Casado, Bernal & Lamine already agreed renewals pending announcement.

So remaining players who we aren't actively trying to sell who has contracts until that expires within next 2 years:

2025: Szczesny, but we already know that a contract agreed, but he has to decide whether to sign it or retire again.

2026: Eric, Frenkie, Fort, Christensen

2027: Kounde, Torres.

Eric and Frenkie are two players we know that the club is trying to renew atm. Eric is probably easier, especially after Cesc said he wants him but that he will stay in Barca/ Frenkie is a never ending saga. Fort is young and they will sure try to renew him. Christensen is a big question mark, there was a report he will renew until 2029 but that sound absurd given his injuries.

Kounde, Torres will surely get renewal offers, but I wonder if it will be in the preseason or we will wait until the simmer over and start negotiation.

So, regarding exits:

Lenglet is official, and so is Valle while Fati is almost a done deal.

Deadweights who the club 100% will try to force out: Romeu, Inaki Pena, Pau Victor & Torre

Players we might sell in order to create cap space: Ter-Stegen, Martin, Christensen/Araujo. Potentially some loans to youngsters like Astralaga.

Not a bad start on the exits front tbh
