Really need to see the lineup with him and Raphinha in the middle at least in one of the two preseason friendlies left.

Olmo is just not it for me, an impact sub at best, especially with his fitness issues (not just injury prone, but also too easily fatigued to play more than 45 minutes most games), but also way too inconsistent/dependent on single moments throughout games. Plus he's our biggest liability when pressing. If not Rashford and Raphinha stays left, I still prefer Fermin over Olmo, at least the former can press better, plus he has a better shot on him as well. Really wish we hadn't spent that 60M on a player we didn't even need...

Doesn't need it as much if he's playing the Busquets role though. Both him (and even more so) Bernal I feel like they're actually better suited to that role. Wouldn't mind Flick trying the classic 4-3-3 at some point this season. Especially with Olmo being so underwhelming. And it would give us the chance to fit both Pedri and Gavi into the lineup, which is another positive. Yes, by taking the CAM away and limiting support to the three attackers could be a problem, but on the other hand it could help us be a bit more stable defensively as well. It's all about balance. In games where De Jong (and Fermin) isn't available I think we'd be better off changing to this formation.

People underestimate the impact on team as a whole guys like Casado, Gavi or Fermin have.
They give their all and transmit that energy and mentality on others too.
