I don't give a rats ass about this award. Everything about it is stupid and it may or may not go to the best player in the world - it's not a given.

While I think it's hilarious the lows we've reached in football that someone like dumbele can win it, I don't mind Lamine not winning it - purely from a psychological perspective. He's flying high and I felt it may all be a bit too much too quick. He will now have the drive to get it next year.

Even stats wise Yamal I think is better, or they have 5-6 difference in g/a, Yamal playing in a much tougher league

And as for individual performancess it would be absurd to argue

Deserved. The BD usually goes for the most key player in the best team. There are some exceptions, but Lamine is not high profile enough for that.

PSG won CL with a clear win overall, fair play. PSG players only have a shot at BD based on club level if they get the CL title.
