If this guy is the real deal and he signs for Madrid it’s going to be a real problem… Camavinga and Valverde are both very promising…

Will be a downgrade in their midfield from Kroos, Modric and Casimero... while Gavi, Pedri and FDJ on face of it is at least as promising at this stage.

Let's hope Big Benz stops playing at a BD level. He's gonna be a pain in the ass to replace.

Him, Courtois and Vinicius are basically why Madrid ran away with the league.

Midfields are both good and promising.

He looks simmular to Camavinga and Valverde.

But still, tgreat job for them.

They are not looking for unathletic, weak, small players like our idiots.

That midfield looks all nice, but none of them replaces Modric, the player type.

The 3 could end up a bit too similar to each other, and creativity might not be the best.

The best thing we can take from this signing is that at least real Madrid will back off from all the future young midfield starlets for the next 3 years at least.

Don't be so sure, if we convert to 4-6-0 in the future we need many, many midfielders.

Perez already learnt that hoarding midfielders is a gigantic waste of money, as they tend up to regress due to not having enough playing time and way too much competition.

Callbacks to the days of Zidanes Madrid where you guys could literally field two sets of entirely different midfields and still boss most teams in the world.

You're welcome

He's great at taking back the ball and also has a good shot, but he's not really an assist provider, at least until now.

The fact that Liverpool's recruitment team (which is the best in the world by light years) had shortlisted him is enough to tell you that the player is great.

Question, though, is how he is gonna be used and developed. Carlo's record with developing youngsters is super poor tbh.
Same goes for Camavinga and Valverde.
Until RM hires a coach who can build, their new md will not come into being, and they will always cling to CMK
