Well Depay's goals are what's keeping us from the relegation zone. So yes, in theory, he has been a pretty big success.

do you have a better option for a decent price instead ?

A few weeks ago, people would say to Martial something like:
1. we are wasting money on his wages
2. we are hindering a development of young players
3. we are making impulsive transfers without too much planning
4. I'd rather write off this season, don't waste money and try to improve the team and give the youngsters some experience and stability

So, about Martial:
1. he is not a long term player for us
2. what about Fati, Depay, Abde, Dembele, Coutinho, Luuk (Trincao?)
3. haven't we said that we are rebuilding and that we can write off this season? If we are loaning players, then we surely aren't writing off this season, but we have goals: qualifying for a CL or Europa league

So, are we rebuilding or chasing results?
Are we saving money or are we buying whoever is available?
If we are not rebuilding but chasing results, does that mean that we can give Xavi 2-3 years regardless of his results?

So many questions, and we are impulsive and chaotic as always.
Fc Barcelona, mes que chaotic than any other club.

He sucks. Would only take him on a 6 month loan if we cannot get in anyone else.

Just in terms of goals and assist, his end-product is poor for forward, 19/20 season being the one exception, not to mention he is already 26, not a talent anymore.

Barca should steer clear, if they have high ambitions for the future.
