He definitely had a knack for goal. Would he be able to play the wing role or hold his own as central forward is another issue.

Path for these kind of players is two striker system.

Nah, he was class and still is when fit and don't have bum managers ignoring him.

He has been nowhere near class for years even when fit.. whatever that means for him these days.

May have developed differently if didnt get injured and added to his game but if looking at current team then Raphs role one that would suit him the most.

In from left.. freeish role to try and get on beside the CF and make those runs.. but would be a lot worse than Raph going on outside.
