Alexander Sorloth

In todays sorry era of lackluster strikers, Sorloth is a hot commodity. Besides Kane and Haaland, there really are no world class nines. In 2012 it would have scandalous for Barcelona to get a Mario Gomez 'esque forward. Nowadays there are no options. Get Sorloth.

Have to say Mario got a lot of hate for missing chances but guy had incredible to off ball movement to get in these situations, was a good striker

Honestly, I would want us to get him. Would be cheapish.

Has 15 goals already. He would easily add 5-10 more if he was here. At least he is a proven LaLiga player.

Hard pass. He Will be 31 this year. We should look at Igor Thiago from Brentford. 6'2, Only 24 yrs and 17 goal in Prem this season. Not sure what his price is.

31 is not an age anymore. His style of play isnt related to age. He has easily five years at the top of his game. The keyword being HIS. His area is the opposition box. Barca has enough of those quick, technical work-ants. We need a big, burly focal point who can finish all the chances that Yama, Gavi, Olmo, and others create. And thats what wins you titles. Hell, Lewandowski even in his prime wasnt much more than a box player. Yup, that 2019-2022 era or whatever that was when he scored a boatload of goals and should have won the Ballondor and what have you... How many memorable goals did he really score? How many truely elite goals, that involve more than just anticipation and expert poaching&finishing? None. Virtually all of his goals were penalties, tap-ins all glorified tap-ins that Bayern`s machine created for him. We need that here and now. Sorloth can certainly fill those boots. Is he as good as prime Lewandowski? Of course not. Could he get the job done, in terms of scoring goals, important goals and be a difference maker against Real and other top teams in the CL? Absolutely. Sorloth is absolutely fearless and he isnt a bottler. He will score against any given team, when given enough service. Mark my words.

I hate when people speak too much of service for strikers

A truly elite striker creates some service for himself too. The calibre of strikers Barça requires and has employed over history, should belong to this category
