What was the whole towel issue @Total-Football ?

Why were they stealing Nigerian and Senegalese keepers towels?
It's done so GKs couldn't dry their gloves. Some dirty trick and during the final it was pouring down so drying had to be done regularly.

I only saw live Senegal walking out (during Barca's game) and thought that was a disgrace, but reading now there's more than that. Anyway the refs should've intervened and they did nothing. Even people in suits (stadium admin, I suppose) were chasing towels. Is this the AFCON final or Bolivian league match?

Apparently it was stadium staff trying to steal the towels? Makes it even worse. And it happened in a match against Nigeria before as well.

Just confused at Total-Football claiming Morrocco was setting good standards for tournament organization, but not commeting on that.

Thats voodoo stuff .. very common in subsaharien football . Irrespective of what people believe or think its received by the public as provocative extra sportive behaviour hence the aggressive shithouseing surrounding all of that.. at what point u have to start with the first cause.

Having a towel to wipe face and hands in a sportball match is a voodoo now? Come on man! You didn't even address the point made by Windhook.
If stealing towels from opposite players is common shit in these african football matches, present more examples. Why are they so focused on towels anyway? The one accessory that is actually needed for practical purposes, lack of which makes team disadvantageous. Why didn't they try to steal something else. How do they know that voodoo is in the towel? Can't he hide his juju in the pants?

This might be the case but never in a million years do those ballboys and likes of hakimi and saibari believe this. Maybe they leaning into that belief but it’s clearly done cause they know it’s important to the ref.
Also pretty sure that they started doing this after it started raining. Or at least way more persistently.

Hakimi and saibari clearly indulged in when the local crowd kept pointing to the towel they probably didnt even know why (hakimi and sibari) .. anyway the whole situation is just afcon afconing.

It takes two to tango.. how can morocco raise the standard and u have professional football players believing in fucking voodoo (remember Ibrahimovic and lukaku incident). Again.. not defending what the ball boys did but its perceived as a provocative act when u do that shit especially infront of locals. Its disrespectful and the ballboys reacted (wrongly admittedly). So there u have it my comment on it

Except it was not a towel to wipe face .. public and ball boys would never react that way if it was just a regular towel.. again.. people outside Africa won't understand this whole shithousery and I dont expect them ..
