I watched the interview between the author of the newly released book "Lewandowski, True Face" (my own translation), Sebastian Staszewski and Bogdan Rymanowski - a popular TV publicist. I think, you mentioned Staszewski name earlier, asking, if Lewandowski took part in ousting Ancelotti from Bayern or, for that matter, Xavi in this club. I was very skeptical until I saw the interview, where the author's overall demeanor appeared instilling confidence and he himself quite credible. So...There could be some truth to it, of course always within a context. Especially, that his interviewer Rymanowski is a stand up guy who would not invite a cheap shot reporter looking for publicity.
With his book, he wanted to reveal the human side of Lewandowski, rather than analyze him as a footballer, and apparently, he spoke with a myriad of people from his past and present surroundings. Some of them were renowned figures like Thomas Muller, Joachim Low, Laporta. Looks like RL9 is a guy who does not care much about conventions or proprieties and he gets what he wants.
For instance, Xavi, before he was fired, he brought to Laporta a list of players he did not want any more in the squad. Lewandowski was there, on that list...Guess what? Xavi lost his job, Lewa stayed on. Supposedly, there's plenty of stuff like that.
I may order the book to entertain myself.
