20 assist.

No weakness in his actual contribution since being here, can't ask for much more form a striker in his prime, much less one past his physical prime.

I wasn't a lewa fan before he got here and I'm still not when we are comparing him to the greats

But credit where it's due, when you pay what we did for him and paying him what we are, I except a striker to deliver goals and that's what he's done consistently.

Different positions.
Different ages and stages in their career as well. This is washed up Lewy. If this was prime Lewy, his numbers would skyrocket. He has lost a lot physically and technically (his first 6 months at Barca pre Qatar under Xavi was the last part of his peak; his all round game was elite back then).

How many assists btw?
20 in his Barca career. Around 200 in his overall career.

This signing is the definition of a clutch signing.

For large parts of the last decade and the one before, Barca were the sexiest project in the Football world.

But when Lewy joined, Barca were in turmoil and had massive financial problems. The team wasn't competitive at the highest level. Bayern were flying back then.

Yet Lewy took on the massive challenge and joined Barca when they needed him the most. 2 league titles and 3 years later, Barca are now one of the best teams in the world and a very exciting project although there are still some budget issues.

Don't know how reliable it is but Catalunya Radio recently said that:

Inside the club, there is tremendous respect for Lewandowski. Laporta in particular appreciates him greatly.

At the very least, he should be a Barca cult hero.
