9 - Robert Lewandowski

For most players, playing for country is above playing for club. And it is fine. WC is the biggest in football, it is just doesn‘t matter if you have the chance to win it.

It's logical because they mostly don't play for their home town team but for some foreign club that doesn't mean much except it's a job that gets you a lot of money. They can more easily indenify with the national team though. At least until most of the players in NT were actually from the same nation, we are losing that because of mass migration and most of the western NT are losing it's identity (the same as their countries).

The club and Flick are mad at Lewy!!!

❗️At the beginning of the match vs Lithuania, Lewandowski noticed some discomfort on his leg. However, he continued playing after applying a bandage, and ended up injured.

🚨🎖️| There are concerns at the club about Lewandowski’s decision to play the full 90 minutes for Poland despite experiencing knee tendon pain early in the match against Lithuania. [ffpolo] 🇵🇱

I would be happy if I didn't know there are 2 possibilities concerning his replacement
1) We don't sign anyone and Ferran is our striker
2) They spend the summer chasing someone we can't afford and then panic in last days of the window and sign some idiot probably pay him 10x the actual value

Both real possibilities

Season and Barça stint are over for him. He'll probably focus on NT in order to get to his last WC.
Not even blaming him. Knows he's leaving, money is guaranteed anyway. He'll do a Messi at PSG, with NT being top priority.
Maybe also wants to stay in Spain for next season and get a year at Atletico.

FC Barcelona is reportedly keeping a close watch on Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani, who has started the season in outstanding form. The 23-year-old forward has already scored five goals and provided two assists for his club this season, helping Hoffenheim secure a mid-table position in the Bundesliga. His performances have drawn attention across Europe, especially from clubs seeking a young, proven goal-scorer at a reasonable price.
