Don't blame Lewandowski for everything. The main reason for the defeat was a complete lack of physicality and fittness . Compared to PSG's players, Barcelona's players looked like juniors. Yamal and Rushford were particularly hopeless, playing for themselves and preferring circus performances over teamwork.

He's still a great number 9, but Barca has to know how to use that to your advantage. Yamal and Rushford were playing yesterday for "show". Yamal had two great passes in the first half, but then he disappeared completely. When you have a player like Lewandowski, you have to know how to use him.

He is still good at finishing but he cant run and it limits the options for the way team can play and enhances teams being able to press high with less worry going the other way.

You act like it was a choice for Barca to lose the battle on ball and not play higher up the park. It wasnt. PSG were just much better and took game over.

That is the reality and in that situation Lewa is largely redundant for vast majority of game.
