Barca wanted to go back to front early and play ball into channels.. Lewa even if fit couldnt manage that.

At his age is still a top CF in the box but limits Barca tactically.

Thats every club is looking for tall CFs with some mobility who can play in different ways.

Next summer it could be another CF bloodbath with Chelsea, Bayern and possibly Real all looking for CFs.

Lewa at his age and on his wagesan fee to get nothing back four after four years and be left looking for another CF when stuggling to afford it was never great planning.

Can someone try to explain why this dude throws himself to the ground 70% of the time he tries to receive a pass? I mean, Torres or Olmo when they play as #9 don't do it - I also don't think the opposition really fears him when not close to the goal, so its not like "we HAVE to foul him or we dead" no matter where he is? Is it psychological? He needs therapy or something?

Say what you want about Suarez but despite all the hype around strikers like Haaland, Lewandowski was still the more clinical striker last season.

Higher G/Sh than Kane and Haaland, and by a fairly big margin too.

Lewandowski is still basically top 3 best strikers in the world right now unless things take a real dive this season, which may or may not be the case.
