9 - Robert Lewandowski

If I remember correctly they are together since before he was famous, maybe she's a great talent scout and knew he'll become big when they were kids? Maybe Deco could hire her to lead scouts instead of his buddy?

She also has her own career, this couple is not the best example for your debate.

I've always wondered how I would date a woman if I were famous. I think I’d wear a cap and a fake full beard, then ask a girl out on a date. Usually, you can tell from her first reaction whether she recognizes you or not. Most of the time women don't really know football players, so that's easier than if you were a singer for example.

I’d also give a fake name so she couldn't Google me before the first date. If she’s still nice and genuine then maybe she’s someone you could actually consider as a future wife. I often see famous guys dating fangirls, but I’d never do that, exactly for the reasons you mentioned.
So basically you'd be dating as your current self, is that working out or no?

Yes Yes dude, i would rate me as a solid 7,

I think going to gym has massively improved my appearance as clothes look 10x better on you when you have a good body.

I have just high standards, i should definitely lower them to find a girl for life...

Never liked him as a player. Talented, but Incredibly boring to watch. Robben and Ribery (different positions but the same team) were much more talented footballers than him - I think anyone who has played football would agree with that, it is staggeringly obvious to see. Yet bizarrely aren't rated as highly by fans. Probably because they aren't as big goalscorers or flat-track bullies.

Difficult to compare,

can Lewy dribble like Robben and Ribery? Surely not. But can they be as dangerous as Lewy in the box? Surely not.
Either way one of the best winger duo of all time

That's true.

It's probably a stylistic bias.

I just find it strange that people rate him above them when - usually - fans and people in football prefer dribblers, playmakers and game changers. Rather than hold-up forwards and finishers in the box.

For me he is 2nd only behind Benzema in the last 15 years. A bit higher than Suarez.
For me he's below them both, and Zlatan on talent too (but not body of work).

I also much prefer watching guys like Aguero to him but acknowledge he has a greater body of work than him. I think Kun had more talent, though. David Villa had more ability too, imo.

Zlatan and Kun don't even make the cut for me. Complete nobodies in pressure games in Europe.

It's just strange how people constantly slag the Bundesliga and call it a single team league (which I agree with) but somehow the guy who is by far the biggest beneficiary of that in historical legacy gets a free pass.

If Messi had played 8 years at Bayern you just know Temptation would never stop talking about it. But with Lewy it's fine.

When this guy scores 4 in a CL semis vs Real Madrid... and scores 40 goals in La Liga at 37... he is that good. That 2013 semifinal is still the best performance I've seen from a player not named Messi to date.
