Horrible performance. Ball was bouncing off him like an amateur. With it looking more and more like Ferran is the better option, an awkward conversation needs to be had.

He is embarrassing himself out there and it's not a good look. Age gets to us all and it's looking like it's his turn. If he is a level headed individual he must know that he is not good enough to start for the best team in the world any more.

Leave now, as a Barca legend, don't stay and sully your legacy with a poor one next season where you are barely first choice.

Flick mentioned it when asked about risky play and brushed off talks about high line. He said if we press well with first player, then second, third, we have good chance to re-gain possession. Defense starts there. Flick's words.

He's delivered 38 GL on average since being here, if he can get the same again or 30.

That's a massive help to our chances next season.

I understand that everyone is a unique person with different level of understanding and philosophy. But to defend something what is so obvious that’s wrong, it’s just out of my level of understanding. Some “so called” Barca fans, really do not behave like real fans. It’s clear they miss something.
I just only hope that Flick will, sooner than later, wake up and realize that Flopski should be pushed out and do something good with the money saved on him.

I'm not sure there is any more important position to strengthen more the the striker one. Because with other positions (fullbacks) we need depth. But for the striker, we absolutely need a starter. If age caught up with penaldo, one of the best players of all time and most professional, in his position, than all indicate that next year Lewa will be something pathetic to see. After 36 years old I think the decline will not even be gradual but accelerating at full speed.

I will take a Masiive L but I will stick to what I said last Novemeber.

We wont be winning the UCL next season, if Lewa is starting during Feb-March onwards.
Heck I will even add Ferran to this.

This was our best chance to go to the Finals seeing we had atleast a younger Lewa. Next year I see no chance.
Now if Ferran vastly improves his finishing, or Flick implements a False 9/ Raphinha as a CF. Things might be different.
And looking how Ferran has scored this season, even Darwin Nunez would be a massive upgrade to either of them. Flickball is that fucking good.

But if its Lewa, I am ready to take the L, but we are not going to be in the FInals if he is our Starter this time next year.
