He should see the writing on the wall and take off to MLS or Saudi and arrive in optimal condition for the World Cup if he intends to play in that.

Don’t think it was glory sub. Ferran played 90 minutes along with 120 mins copa del rey. Lad makes plenty of runs.

I think he figured possibly gassed and would not get any more out of ferran.

Of course we need better than ferran. I'm just emphasizing the financial utilitarianism of getting rid of Lewa. I don't see him contributing next season with his charges. Ideally we sign a replacement obviously.

I agree. Saudi to save us..

If he understands his role for the next season is to share time with Torres, maybe he could still work for a season, but that would be my approach. Don't expect to start every game anymore.

Call me crazy but Ferran Torres is the exact striker type this club needs. Lewa is 10x more talented but sadly past his prime by a long ways. 1 more year and then we go for a mobile striker. Preferably one that presses like a demon as well
